In order for Be My Concert to make secure payments to your account, you need to verify your identity. You will not be able to receive any payouts from concerts that you play / host at Be My Concert until your identity is verified.

This is to prevent money laundering and fraud, and is a requirement from our online payment system provider, Stripe.

How to verify my identity?

Login to Be My Concert and go to your profile settings. Under "Payout account" you will see your “Account added” status and your “Identity verified” status.

Click on the ‘Verify’ button and in the next screen upload a color photo of

  1. either passport or driver’s license and

  2. a card or document that clearly states your full name and address.

Click ‘Submit’ and wait for the confirmation screen to display.

If you then go back to your profile, you will see that your ‘Identity Verified’ status has changed to ‘Pending verification’.

Once your documents have been reviewed by Stripe, the status will change to ‘Yes’ and all text will turn green.

What sort of ID/documents should I use?

  1. Photo ID - either your driver's license or your passport. Other government issued photo ID is possible, but does not always get accepted.

  2. Proof of name and address. - In Denmark, this could be your yellow ‘sundhedskort’, but it can also be a utility bill. The most important thing is that it clearly states your full name and address.

Make sure that the images/documents are clear and well lit.

Will my data be secure?

Yes. Stripe is compliant with data protection laws in the US, EU, UK and Switzerland. No personnel at Low-Fi will be able to see or access your documentation. To read more see the Stripe Privacy Policy.
