Report your concert with your local performing rights organisation.

Denmark:

Be My Concert has an exclusive deal with KODA, the association of songwriters, composers and music publishers of Denmark: Be My Concert arrangers (the musicians and the concert host) get a 40% discount on the license fee. The discounted fee averages to 8% of the ticket price, including a small admin fee for handling the reporting in our end.

If a concert sells more than 50 tickets or earns more than DKK 9546,45 (ex vat & Be my Concert's fee), the fee follows the usual rates for KODA.

You need to be registered with KODA as a musician. in order to report your concert and claim your royalties back.

  1. After you have played your concert, go to KODA and report the concert. (Log in to see the page).

  2. Choose the musician.

  3. Input the host as 'spillested' (place of concert).

  4. Choose Be My Concert as the arranger. Address is Pilestræde 28A, 1112 København K.

In the case you are the copyright holder of the music you performed you will receive the 8% license fee back in the form of royalties paid out by KODA.

NOTE: Be My Concert is NOT a concert arranger, but in the KODA system, choosing Be My Concert as the arranger is how KODA will match their information with the information we send them.

Sweden:

The fee follows the usual rates for live music with STIM. This averages to 8% of the ticket price, including a small admin fee for handling the reporting in our end.

Be My Concert is in the process of registering for a VAT number in Sweden. Until that is in place artists can not report their concerts to STIM. We will send out an update on the situation as soon as we know more - and we are sorry for the inconvenience!
