As a host you are offering your space for intimate concerts and providing artists an intimate setting to perform their music. Other than connecting, creating and hosting concerts with artists on Be My Concert, it is also your responsibility to promote and sell tickets to your concert - of course as a team effort with the artists.
However your personal network and knowledge about your local community is a key element to ensure the first wave of tickets sold and spreading the word about your concerts, especially if the artist is not local.
In other words, you're responsible for establishing the marketing groundwork and then artists and Be My Concert can support an extra layer of marketing and promotion on top of your efforts.
There is no financial responsibility being a Be My Concert host, and the artist's pay is secured by the ticket sales.
However, as a host you invest time in arranging, hosting and promoting your concerts.
